The way of the air

From the compressed-air system to the machine – each station decides whether full power arrives.

  1. Compressor

6 bar operating pressure, approx. 1,200 L/min for each connected AIR machine.

  2. Filter regulator

Water separator and filter for dry, pure air; set the pressure.

  3. Lubricator

Oiled air with exact dosage: max. 5 drops per m³ air/min.

  4. Air hose

    Inner Ø 9 mm. 3 m included, 5 m and 10 m as accessories.

  5. AIR machine

Up to 20 L/s air consumption. Perfected silencer technology, exhaust to the rear.

Air or electric?

Most AIR machines have an electric counterpart of similar design. What differs:

Compressed airElectric
DriveCompressed air, operating pressure 6 barMains power
RequirementCompressor with approx. 1,200 L/min per machine and air preparationSocket
Speedfixed per model: 2,000, 3,400 or 5,400 rpmper model constant or Vario in 7 steps

What air brings

A new generation of pneumatic machines with an excellent ratio of size to power – extra strong and extra compact.

Wet work without electricity

The machines run on compressed air. There is no electricity at the machine when grinding, polishing or cutting wet.

Extra strong, extra compact

Excellent ratio of size to power: 800 to 950 watts power output.

Sensitive and powerful

Great for precision work, full power for rough work.

Robust build

Robust yet compact design, ball-bearing spindle for high loads.

Silencer technology

Perfected silencer technology for comfortable, safe work.

Exhaust to the rear

The exhaust air is ducted to the rear.

Spindle lock

For easy tool changes – on all air machines.

Three speeds, three jobs

AIR machines run at a fixed speed. It tells you what a machine is built for.

2,000rpmPolishing and grinding with large tools

Tools up to Ø 130 and 150 mm, for heavy continuous loads.

3,400rpmResin pads and diamond grinders

The highest speed of the air grinders – tools up to Ø 100 mm.

5,400rpmCutting, drilling, grinding, milling

Highest speed of the AIR series with high torque – tools up to Ø 125 mm.

Is the air clean? – Advice from the experts

The quality and the amount of air supplied have a direct effect on the reliability and the power of all pneumatic machines. If the air preparation does not meet the required standards, the machine cannot give full power.

Air quality criteria for our power machines:

Correct operating pressure

6 bar

Adequate preparation capacity

approx. 1,200 L/min for each connected AIR machine

Oiled air with exact dosage

max. 5 drops per m³ air/min

Dry air

using a water separator

Pure, filtered air

perhaps by fitting an additional fine filter
