Diamond Jigsaw Blade for Granite Residual Bridges

Application & Function

The B series are segmented, sintered diamond jigsaw blades for cutting residual bridges in granite — e.g. in the corners of hob cut-outs after pre-cutting with a cutting disc. For this work, the diamond segments are designed differently from those of the G series, as they have to do a different amount of work. The blades must exactly match the respective slab thickness — B2 for 2 cm, B3 for 3 cm, B4 for 4 cm slabs.

Important Notes on Use

• Always choose segmented, sintered blades for granite according to the corresponding slab thickness: B2 for 2 cm slabs, B3 only for 3 cm slabs, B4 for 4 cm slabs. Incorrect use leads to uneven wear and severe vibration.
• “B” blades are specially designed for cutting residual bridges (e.g. in the corners of hob cut-outs after pre-cutting with a cutting disc) — not to be confused with the “G” blades for full cuts (see diamond jigsaw blades for granite).
• Resharpen segmented, sintered granite and sandstone blades occasionally on the dressing stone.
