Intended use: the edge grinder is particularly suitable for polishing washbasins, stairs, tables, counters etc. made of marble, granite and ceramics. Operating mode: wet only — the machine is suitable for operation with water supply only (dry operation burns out the sealing rings of the work spindle).
Personal protective equipment must be worn during operation: safety goggles and hearing protection; protective gloves, sturdy non-slip footwear and an apron are recommended.
Noise emission: sound pressure level 83.6 dB(A), sound power level 94.6 dB(A) – hearing protection required. Vibration: weighted acceleration 9.5 m/s².
Dust produced when working stone (crystalline silica) is hazardous to health. Material containing asbestos must not be processed (observe accident prevention regulation VBG 119 of the German employers’ liability insurance association).
Isolating transformer/PRCD: as the machine is intended for wet use only, applicable accident prevention regulations in Germany permit operation only in combination with an isolating transformer (CEE) or a PRCD safety switch (DI).
