Levelling only the top with wedges or packing moves the offset to the visible edge.<\/p><\/li><li><h3>Grinding off an offset afterwards costs the polish<\/h3><p>If one slab stands proud, the only fix is grinding \u2013 and with it a different gloss around the joint.<\/p><\/li><li><h3>The profile has to run across the joint<\/h3><p>Where an edge profile runs across a joint or corner, both slabs have to meet exactly in the profile.
